Tractor - engine ovehaul

Shortly after buying when first used in anger had ominous noises from the engine which were diagnosed as being big end damage. A strip down revealed that a previous owner had broke off a file tang inside crankshaft oil gallery causing starvation to the bearing! So while engine was out had it rebored, crank ground etc by a local company.

Tractor - Clutch repair

A new clutch had been fitted during overhaul of the engine but a loose adjustment bolt caused the clutch to become very difficult to operate so tractor had to be split to rectify.

Front-end loader

Trailer refurbishment

Marshall trailer was given a tidy up, new plywood flooring and fresh paint shortly after buying. Decided to replace the flooring after 15 years to discover quite a bit of rust so more fundmental repairs required.

An old 1966 Series 2a Land Rover was bought as “insurance” in case we ever got snowed in. Decided to give it a new lease of life by fitting a new chassis
